Welcome to the Chicagoland Chapter of the Buick Club of America!
What's Going On...
Its hard to believe that 2017 is upon us. I hope everyone had a great holiday!
It has recently come to our attention that some of our members have not been receiving the "Flash". Please notify Rick Schick firstname.lastname@example.org and cc Robert Rogacki at email@example.com and Melanie Mauser at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are not receiving your copies or if you have a change in your mailing address/email.
Thanks to Bob Rogacki for stepping forward to serve as our new newsletter editor. Please remember to get all For Sale and Wanted Items to him by the 20th of the month should you wish to have an ad included in the "Flash".
Joan Bodden has offer to be our Sunshine Secretary. Please inform Joan and Melanie if a member of the Club is having health issues, so that a card may be sent on behalf of the Club.
Bruce and Linda Eiseman have offered to update our Club's Photo Website/CCBCA Gallery. Start looking for your favorite photos of your car(s). We will ask you to submit them to Bruce at email@example.com.
The BOPC (Buick, Olds, Pontiac & Cadillac) will be hosting the 25th Annual Swap Meet & Car Corral at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles, IL. Vendor set-up will be on February 18 and the Swap Meet on February 19. Please volunteer a couple of hours of your time guarding a door, helping with cleanup or assisting in some other way. It benefits our Club and we have always been proud of having a strong showing. Sign-up sheets will be available at our Monthly Meetings or contact Melanie Mauser and she will add your name to the sheet.
Don't forget to send in your reservation by March 17 for the April 1st Pizza Luncheon at Lou Malnati's in Elk Grove Village.
We had a nice turnout for our December meeting/Christmas Party. The food was excellent as always. Thank you to Debbie Powell for her donation of automotove themed potholders with matching trivets and Meri Cowell for her donation of Buick themed wooden boxes. Their creative talents made our raffle more festive. Also thank you all for your generous donations to Toys for Tots.
